Board of Directors

SAVEC is governed by an eight-member Board of Directors representing key regional organizations and partners throughout the Bristol Bay region. This diverse board structure helps ensure SAVEC’s programs and long-term planning remain aligned with regional workforce, educational, and community development priorities.

Board representation includes:

  • Bristol Bay Housing Authority (BBHA)

  • Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC)

  • Bristol Bay Native Association (BBNA)

  • Bristol Bay Economic Development Corporation (BBEDC)

  • Bristol Bay Borough (BBB)

  • Lake and Peninsula Borough (LPB)

  • Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation (BBAHC)

  • University of Alaska Fairbanks Bristol Bay Campus

The Board of Directors provides oversight, strategic guidance, and leadership in support of SAVEC’s mission to strengthen workforce development opportunities across Southwest Alaska. The board meets quarterly, with the Annual Meeting held during the fourth quarter of each year.
